Located in the heart of Gueliz, at the corner of Boulevard El Mansour Eddahbi and Avenue Imam Malik, the Grand Café de la Poste remains a privileged witness to the history of the Ville Nouvelle. A true Brasserie-style institution, the establishment preserves a legend where time seems to have stood still, far from the hustle and bustle of the surrounding boulevards.

A Historic Meeting

It is said that Jacques Majorelle Would regularly sit down with the General Lyautey. The two men shared, around a table, their common love for Marrakech, thus anchoring the café in the city's cultural heritage.

The Renaissance of a Myth

Taken over in 2005 by Héléna Paraboschi and Pierre Pirajean also at the origin of Bô-Zin and of My friend This «grand café,» dating from the 1920s, cultivates a rare elegance. Under the direction of’Eric Conte Moustakidis, the establishment strives to perpetuate the charm of the past with a singular requirement: never to give in to mere fashion trends.

A Treasure Signed Studio KO

The renovation, entrusted to the famous Studio KO (Olivier Marty and Karl Fournier), have managed to restore the venue to its former glory. By blending in with the existing structure and retaining certain uncomplicated lines, the architects recreated an authentic atmosphere, with wooden stairs, shutters and ceiling fans.
